Keane Reeves glowing with happiness with girlfriend Alexandra Grant on the red carpet
We love to see it!
The two were caught kissing at the Museum of Contemporary Art Gala in Los Angeles this past Saturday.
For a long time, Keanu Reeves had been single. The actor has suffered major loss in his personal life in the past.
His daughter with girlfriend Jennifer Smye was stillborn at 8 months old. Soon after, Jennifer Smye was involved in an accident and passed away as well.
Even though the couple had been broken up by then, it still made a heavy impact on the actor.
Keanu Reeves has been dating his girlfriend, Alexandra Grant for a while. The two looked stunning at the recent art gala as they walked the red carpet.
The 58-year-old Matrix star appeared in a black suit and striped tie, while Grant turned heads in her red dress.
The couple held hands throughout the event, held at the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA in LA, according to the Daily Mail.
The couple is perhaps most known for how private they keep the details of their lives and relationship. However, Reeves recently sat down for an interview with PEOPLE and spoke about the happiness he feels with his artist partner.
When asked about the last time he felt bliss, the John Wick star replied: “A couple of days ago with my honey. We were in bed. We were connected. We were smiling and laughing and giggling. Feeling great. It was just really nice to be together.”
Ironically, the couple first released their relationship to the public at an art gala. This was in November 2019 at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) Art and Film Gala.
The two met in 2011 after coming together for collaborative projects. Most noticeably was that Grant created the art for the books Ode To Happiness and Shadows, books of poetry written by Reeves.
Grant graduated from Swarthmore College in 1994 and has been a prestigious artist for many years. Her artwork has been featured in exhibits all over the world, including at LACMA, the Galerie Gradiva in Paris, and The Harris Lieberman Gallery in New York.

Despite her career success and clearly healthy relationship, Grant has still been criticized online. Private relationship or not, many social media user has commented on her naturally gray hair.
In response, Grant took to Instagram to explain: “I went gray prematurely in my early 20s… and dyed my hair every color along the way until I couldn’t tolerate the toxicity of the dyes anymore. In my 30’s I let my hair turn ‘blonde’.
“I love and support that every womxn can choose how she wants to look at every age,” she continued. “But/and, if womxn are perishing from beauty standards… then let’s talk about those beauty standards. Love to all womxn!”
