Abducted Illinois girl found six years after she vanished when store owner recognised her from Netflix show

Kayla Unbehaun, abducted by her mother six years ago at age nine, has been located in North Carolina due to her appearance on a Netflix show. Recognized by a store owner, she was found safe.

Her mother, Heather Unbehaun, was arrested for child abduction. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children had sought Kayla’s return for years. Kayla’s father expressed happiness and gratitude for her safe return.
