Chicken Bacon Ranch Layer Salad

  • Ingredients :

°4 skinless chicken breasts
°18 cherry tomatoes, halved
°250 ml of corn kernels
°1-romaine-lettuce, cutting to piece
°1-red onion, cutting to cubes
°150g sharp cheddar-cheese, cubes
°10 strips of bacon, cooked and cut into pieces
To make the ranch sauce:
°180 ml mayonnaise
°80 ml (1/3 cup) 0% plain yogurt
°45 ml (3 tsp) chop parsley
°10 ml (2 teaspoons) onion powder
°5 ml (1 teaspoon) garlic powder
°5 ml (1 teaspoon) mustard powder
°Salt and pepper to taste

  • steps :

Heat the grill to medium to high power.
In bowl, beat ranch dressing ingredients to smooth.
On a hot grill with oil, put the chicken breasts. Close the lid and brown the breasts for 2 minutes on each side.

Turn off one of the barbecue stoves. Brush breasts with a quarter of the ranch dressing, then transfer to the grill over the stove for indirect cooking. Close the lid and let it rest for 15 to 18 minutes, until the inside of the chicken loses its pink color.
In a bowl, combine cherry tomatoes, corn, lettuce, red onion, cheddar cheese, and bacon.

Divide the salad between the plates. Chop the chicken breasts and decorate each serving. Drizzle the remaining ranch dressing.
