*Pecan-Butter-Fudge*

  • Ingredients :

°1/2 C butter
°1/2 C sugar
°½ C packed brown sugar
°1/2 C heavy whipping cream
°1/8 tsp salt
°1 tsp vanilla
° 2 C confectioners’ sugar
° 1 C pecans, toasted and coarsely chopped

  • Methods :

In , heavy saucepan, mix butter, sugars, cream, & salt. Bring it to boil on medium heat, stir occasionally. Boil for 5 min, stir constantly. Taking off fire. Adding vanilla. Adding confectioners’ sugar To smooth. Fold in pecans.
Spreading to 8 inches buttered. square plate. Cool to room temperature. Cut to 1 inch. Store in an airtight-container in refrigerator. Yield: 1-1/4 pounds.
