* Old-fashioned rice-pudding recipe *

Old-fashioned rice pudding is creamy, with good texture & sweetness.This old-fashioned favorite requires some ingredients and a little patience.This old-fashioned eight-treasure rice tastes exactly like the KozyShack eight-treasure rice I like to buy.at the grocery store, except that it’s even better because it’s made with all-natural ingredients.  This is an on the stove version with just the right amount of sweetness. Only half a cup of sugar is added and most of the sweetness comes from the milk.

* ingredients :
° 3-1/2 cup 2% milk
° 1/2 cup uncooked long-grain rice
° 1/3 cup sugar
° 1/2 teaspoon salt
° 1/2 cup raisins
° 1 teaspoon vanilla
° ground cinnamon (optional)
*Directions :
Preheat oven 325 degres. Putting in first 4 ingredients in  saucepan.Briing to  boil over heat, stir constantly. Transfering a grease 1-1/2-qt. baking plate .
Bake, covered, 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Add raisins and vanilla. Bake, covered, until rice is cooked through, about 15 minutes.If you want, you  sprinkle with cinnamon.Hot or cold food, cold food.
