NCIS season 18 finale: Is Ducky going to d1e? Star posts cryptic behind the scenes snap

NCIS series 18 has been a lot sadder than the previous series with two shocking deaths and a farewell to forensic psychologist Jack Sloane (played by Maria Bello). Many fans have taken to social media to comment on the particularly sad storylines which have cropped up so far in the CBS series. However, there may be even more upset insight after actor Wilmer Valderrama teased what’s to come on his Instagram page.

Is Ducky going to die in NCIS season 18?

Ducky (played by David McCallum) is one of just two original characters left in NCIS, alongside veteran agent Leroy Gibbs (Mark Harmon).

While some viewers would also count Agent Timothy McGee (Sean Murray), he technically wasn’t introduced until season one, episode seven Sub Rosa.

Ducky worked as the Chief Medical Examiner for most of the seasons but in March 2019, he decided to hang up his lab coat for good.

His assistant Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen) then took over the role with Ducky instead of working as a part-time historian for NCIS.

So Ducky’s role has been narrowed down quite a bit but he still remains an integral part of the team.

But it now looks like the end for the bow-tie wearing Englishman could be in sight.

Actor Wilmer Valderrama took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes picture of the cast.
