NCIS Season 18: Events of the first installment that you won’t be able to see again

There are things that today’s technology could have prevented or helped in the first installment of NClS. There are also twists and turns in the lives of the characters that would have been very different if the show had started in 2020.

Searching for suspects

NCIS: Los trabajos de Gibbs tomaban mucho más tiempo de investigación que ahora
NClS: Gibbs’ work took much longer to research than now

In NClS Season 1,Gibbs is tasked with locating the perpetrator who held Ducky and Todd hostage. A lot of time and energy could have been saved if the current technology had been accessible.

Gibbs’ obsession with finding the infiltrator who used Ducky and Todd hostage at NClS might not have been as intense or last so long if he had access to the current network.

Defamation

In season 1 of NCIS,a driverless boat and some bodies arrive on the beach, causing a media frenzy by the naval commander’s corps. The media is on the verdict that this commander was linked to drug trafficking.

NCIS: Las redes sociales han eliminado que se deban dar comunicados oficiales en la serie
NClS: Social media has eliminated official announcements in the series

In NClS,Gibbs decides to clear the commander’s name, believing he is innocent, and encounters a hidden rivalry between two gangs of drug traffickers in his efforts.

Unlike the first in installment of NClS,the media would not be so successful in defaming a name, and social media means that readers are more active at expressing their opinions and countering media claims.

Blind dating

Remember in episode 20 of NCIS,when a Marine disappears after having a date with a reporter? A serial killer is suspected of working, as three other members of the same unit are discovered dead.

Today, much has been said to warn people when they meet those you don’t know, so this blind date scenario in episode 20 of the NClS series would be highly unlikely.
