NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: New Orleans, Young Sheldon and more announce returns

CBS has announced its upcoming fall schedule – so now we know exactly when fan favourite show such as NCIS and Young Sheldon will be back on screens.

The Big Bang Theory spin-off will kick off things with its fourth season on Thursday, November 5, airing at 8pm, and will be followed by new show B POSITIVE at 8.30pm.

Sunday, November 8 will see the return of NCIS: Los Angeles at 8.30pm for season 12, followed by its New Orleans equivalent at 9.30pm for its 17th season.

If that wasn’t enough, a fan favourite NCIS episodes compilation will follow at 10.30pm, while the main NCIS will have its 18th season premiere on Tuesday, November 17. SWAT, meanwhile, will premiere its fourth season at 9pm on Wednesday, November 11.

It is certainly a return to normality for CBS amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, which has disrupted the film and TV industry over 2020.

CBS Entertainment boss Kelly Kahl said in a statement earlier this year of keeping their regular schedule: “We’re excited to come off another season as America’s Most Watched Network and, despite the obvious challenges around us, put together another winning lineup.

“Next season, we’ll have five breakout returning freshman series and three compelling new shows placed into a schedule with the incredible stability for which CBS is so well known.

NCIS airs on Tuesdays at 8/7c on CBS in the US, and on FOX UK in the US. NCIS: Los Angeles airs on Sundays at 9/8c on CBS in the US and on Sky One in the UK.
