Who will be permanently joining the cast of NCIS: LA?
There will soon be a very familiar face joining the cast of NCIS: LA.
Actress Medalion Rahimi, better known as Special Agent Fatima Namazi, will become a reoccurring member of the NCIS team.
Agent Namazi appeared in a total of nine episodes last year where she helped out the team on a number of cases.
She is a Cryptologic Technician and has previously proved herself to be invaluable with her insight and fighting skills.

Actress Scottie Thompson, who played Agent Dinozzo’s girlfriend Jeanne Benoit in NCIS will also be in the spin-off series. (Image: CBS)
Speaking about her becoming a permanent member of the team, executive producer R Scott Gemmill said: “We were excited to work with Medallion last season and are thrilled to have her now joining us a season regular on NCIS: Los Angeles.”
When asked about the new casting by Spoiler TV, actor LL Cool J who plays Agent Sam Hanna said: “I think Medalion is great.
“She’s talent, she’s smart, she’s always pleasant to work with.
“She brings a different energy to the show – it’s been nothing but fun and I think she does a great job.”
There has been no confirmation as to when Rahimi will officially join the drama’s cast but Express.co.uk will update this article when it has been announced.
Rahimi however, is not the only actress who will be welcomed into the NCIS: LA family.
Another recognisable face is going to join the cast who fans may recognise.
She is probably best known for her part in the original NCIS series.
Actress Scottie Thompson will be featured in a future episode in season 11 as new character Sarah Raines, an agent for the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA).
She meets with the NCIS team after her superior goes missing and needs their help.
Thompson is probably best known for playing Jeanne Benoit, a doctor and daughter of arms dealer La Grenouille (Armand Anthony Assante) in NCIS.
She was also the girlfriend of Agent Tony Dinozzo (Michael Weatherly) before she tried to blame her father’s death on him.
So far, Thompson has only been announced to star in one episode of the spin-off show but could this lead to another new permanent character?
NCIS: Los Angeles continues on Sunday, February 16, at 9pm on CBS.
