Princess Charlotte’s first day at school will take place on September 5.
The young royal will be accompanied by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince George when she makes her way to Thomas’s Battersea next Thursday, Kensington Palace said.
Back in 2017 Kate missed out on her first son’s big day because she was pregnant with Prince Louis and suffering with acute morning sickness at the time.
Prince William took Prince George to school instead, with adorable photos showing the 37-year-old carrying his son’s book bag.
Just a day after she gave birth to her second son however, Kate was spotted dropping off her eldest at school.
When Charlotte’s first day at school comes the public will be treated to a selection of official photographs to mark the occasion.
Two years ago Prince George looked relaxed and ready to go in his school uniform, sporting an above the knee pair of blue shorts, shiny black shoes and a pale collared shirt beneath a branded sweater.
Luckily, the Royal Family are in line for a discount at Thomas’s Battersea.
The school usually charges £19,287 a year.
Princess Charlotte will get a sibling’s discount however, meaning Kate and Will will only have to stump up £18,915 for a year’s tuition.
The royal siblings head to the classroom after a busy summer.
They’ve had a two-week holiday to the Caribbean , been on a fun boat trip to watch Kate and Wills in the King’s Cup , and they will be heading up to Balmoral to spend time with their Gan Gan the Queen.
And the royal kids have also spent a lot of time at their London home, and their mum has been taking them to one of her favourite London hangouts.
According to insiders, Kate has been keeping George, Charlotte and Louis entertained by taking them to The Hurlingham Club, a private members club in Fulham, London.
